Enquiries and confirmation
A submitted enquiry is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when Jurassic Adventures confirms it in writing.
Learner numbers and payment
Final learner numbers must be supplied at least seven calendar days before the visit. The final fee is calculated using the learner number confirmed at that point. Payment is due on the visit date by EFT or cash; EFT is preferred.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- 14 or more days before: no cancellation charge.
- 7–13 days before: up to 25% of the minimum booking fee.
- Fewer than seven days before: up to 50% of the minimum booking fee.
- Within 48 hours or on the day: up to the full minimum booking fee.
If weather prevents an outdoor presentation and no indoor venue is available, the parties will first try to reschedule without penalty.
Changes outside our control
Jurassic Adventures may reschedule where illness, unsafe conditions, vehicle failure or circumstances outside its reasonable control prevent the visit.
School responsibilities
Teachers and school staff remain responsible for learner supervision, discipline, photography permissions and providing a reasonably safe venue. Public liability insurance does not remove these responsibilities.
Timing and travel
Programme timing is approximate and depends on learner numbers, rotations, venue and logistics. Travel outside Cape Town may attract an additional fee disclosed in the quotation.
